After nine years, a leadership change at Workable in 2024 made it a good time to move on ([more on that](https://andyer.com/help/articles/why-i-left-workable)), and to do the things I'd been putting off. I spent the next two years on:

- A part-time MBA at Boston University (High Honors, finished August 2026)
- AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Google Generative AI Leader, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications
- Volunteer and contract work grading AI model outputs, which taught me more about how AI fails than any course did
- Building [Hey Vitae](https://andyer.com/help/articles/building-hey-vitae), to stay hands-on with the tools my next team will use

I also hold fundamentals certifications in Experience Management (Qualtrics XM Institute) and Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS v6).

I'm actively looking and interviewing. The search has taken longer than I expected, and what I want now is to get back to a team and close to customers.
