I'm Andy Dyer, a customer experience and operations leader in Boston, looking for a hands-on role: senior IC, player-coach, or leading a team. At Workable, I built support from the first dedicated hire into a 25-person team across Support, Customer Education, and Digital Success, in four countries. Along the way, we cut contact rate in half, raised CSAT to 97%, and lifted gross revenue retention (GRR) to 90%.

For 15 years, my work has been figuring out why customers get stuck and then building the fix, whether that's an article, a workflow, a bot, or a team.

- **Workable, nine years.** I was the first dedicated support hire. I set up Zendesk, wrote the first docs, and grew from answering tickets to VP of the 25-person team (Workable). ARR went from $2M to $50M (Workable) while I was there, and CSAT went from under 90% to 97% (Workable).
- **Gazelle, almost six years.** I led customer experience for a two-sided marketplace through 10× growth to $100M+ revenue. Before that, I earned a BA in Sociology from the University of Michigan (2007).
- **2024 to now.** I finished a part-time MBA at Boston University (High Honors, August 2026), earned AWS and Google AI certifications, graded AI model outputs on contract, and built [Hey Vitae](https://andyer.com/help/articles/building-hey-vitae). - **What's next.** Details are in [What roles I'm looking for](https://andyer.com/help/articles/what-roles-im-looking-for).
